Aimless Rambling

Head held high
Reigning in stature
Among Clouds in the sky

Wise words to expound
So impressive
Admiration of sound

Impeccable spelling
Looking down
Ego swelling

Here to speak
Incapable of listening
Or hearing critique

Wondering I turn the pages
Viewing black letters on white

Do we really earn the wages
Of sin and is death our plight

Or can we accept the word of sages
To embrace life and give up the fight?
